I have a digital version of FYM. It’s well-written, and simple to understand, with detailed instructions and explanations.
I do think it is necessary to have any kind of copy of the book if you’re starting to practice the method.
However, I would also recommend having Fumiko’s introduction of poses through classes and/or programs to get a precise understanding of how to execute each of those poses.

I’ve been doing the exercises in this book regularly - 5-6 times a week. I have seen very positive effects. There is a symmetry in the lower half of my face (lips, mouth area) which was not there before, my forehead fine lines are barely visible and my drooped eyelid is slowly starting to tighten. I’m absoulutely fascinated with the Face Yoga method, the book was really helpful and easy to learn.

I do my exercises twice a day. It is so calming and I can see the lifting effect. It is important to do these exercise in front of the mirror to make sure you are doing it correctly. I did these without a mirror for a while and then I realized that the mouth area changed shape in an undesired way. Then I started using the mirror. Now that weird shape has disappeared and the mouth area has lifted up.
Also I splash my face with water 100 times as described in the book. Especially in the morning, I can immediately see the effects of this on the skin.

I'm very happy with buying ebook. For the moment, I integrate a new routine in my life. Like do the 100 splashes, day and night. I love it! Learning how to moisturize my skin correctly. Taking a look at videos.... And practice some poses. I do that at my own pace. I know myself. I need to integrate some new things slowly to make it a part of my life for long time.

Often you show anatomical wall chart. For me is the best way to learn how to do the poses. I would have finding them in the ebook.

I really love the skincare routine Fumiko suggested to me: hot towel and derma roller treatment. When first using the derma roller I probably pressed a bit too hard: Next morning I woke up with my face covered in little red polka dots :) ! But I soon learned to use optimal pressure and it works fine now. I do it twice a week before bedtime and I am hoping for good results (I have been doing this routine for some weeks only, so results are not yet spectacular). Meanwhile I am busily practising Face Yoga poses. This gives me the good feeling of caring for myself, of taking time for myself and of pampering body and soul. Going through a program helps but reading about it and getting a deeper sense of what it is all about- including the wealth of wonderful stuff to explore, really round sit all off.
